Greetings,

I am running XP and have lost contol.
I use Firefox as a browser but of course I have pop-ups (LOTS OF THEM) from IE.
The virus prevents me from using the computer effectively by immediately shutting down anything I try to do in the control panel or running downloads. I have moved to another machine in the same building. I printed out the Antivirus Live (Uninstall Guide) and I'm ready to try this.

Lots of F7 to get to start in safe mode right?

I get to rkill.com and have several choices.

#1 RegClean.com
#2 Remove B.exeTrojan
(www.pctools.com\B.exe)

There are other choices too.

Am I in the right place?

Thanks for the help!

I have merged your two topics to avoid confusion.

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.
