Hi BleepingComputer,

I have a Windows Vista laptop, and I recently downloaded a "DivX Bundle" because my DivX player was not up to date. Upon downloading, my computer was overwhelmed with trojans, worms, and viruses. I purchased Spyware Doctor and got rid of said viruses/worms/trojans (at least the notifications stopped coming). However, I am still getting IE popups while I am using Firefox, and each time I turn on my computer I get two notifications:

"Google Installer has stopped working"
"Windows Defender user interface has stopped working"

The IE popups are consistent, opening at a fairly regular rate. At first, there were only two main URL types popping up (examples follow):

1. http://www.webphenomenon.cn/ac.php?q=poop&...285&sid=new ---> most common type
2. http://www.channelnetwork.cn............
But now (2 days later), there are many more URL types (examples below):

3. http://www.networkreferences.cn/ac.php?q=i...285&sid=new ---> most common type
4. http://www.blogisland.net/search?q=radiation
5. http://www.discoverlocate.net/search?q=fre...flash%2520games
6. http://www.querydirect.net/search?q=ice%2520ice%2520baby
7. http://www.locatewebsearch.com/search?q=spawn
8. http://ylwbook.areaconnect.addresses.com/y...qk=10&qs=CA
9. http://www2.music-tags.com/tagengine/www/d...m_term=Surprise

Also, certain programs either don't open at all or crash shortly after opening (examples below).

1. Age of Empires II stays open until I try to start a game, then it crashes.
2. Online streaming video is much, much slower than normal or doesn't play at all.

I have scanned my computer repeatedly with Spyware Doctor as well as AVG, and they have not found anything. I have also downloaded HiJackThis so I can provide a log if necessary.
