Installed new video card and taskbar is gone

I Installed new video card and my taskbar is gone.I tried to align the screen thinking it was just cut off,but that did not work.I tried to fix it in the control panel options and this did not work.I need some ideas to fix this ,please.

You might need to adjust your screen resolution
Right click on your Desktop and you should be able to make the changes

Just a guess, wondering if it could be a conflict in memory.

Or maybe explorer won't start.....

Hit "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on the keyboard. Navigate to the "Processes" tab. Sort them alphabetically by clicking the header that says "Name" or something. Look for explorer.exe

If it's already there, then it's probably a driver/resolution issue.

If it's not there, the driver is still likely the problem, but you can start explorer manually. Navigate to the "Applications" tab of the Task Manager and click "New Task" near the bottom right. Type in "explorer" without the quotes and hit the "Enter" key on the keyboard. Your taskbar might appear and it might not. You may get an error message. Or nothing at all may happen.

Those are the first things I would try when troubleshooting this issue. Let us know what happens and we'll go from there.

I got sick of messing with it and reinstalled..Problem solved.(I like a clean computer anyway)
The video card is working fine but the temperature on this thing is at 136 degrees Fahrenheit.(58 C) is this normal?

I was thinking about cleaning her up anyway.

as for the heat situation,,I guess this is why they put little fans on these cards.
