I am trying to install Slackware 10.1 which I downloaded to 2 CD's. It starts fine and allows me to partition the drive, but when it asks to install from the CD it displays an error message that the CD drive cannot be found.
This is the computer Dell GX1, BIOS 08, P-III 500mhz, 256mb ram, 20 gb HD, factory CDrom.
Thanks in advance.

Very basic. Replaced the CDrom. The other one worked to a point but then no go. Replacement allowing install as I type.
