I think there are demons in our computer, help!

It's acting weird, gets hijacked, runs slow. I've done system scan with Trend Micro and it is supposedly finding and fixing threats, but it's still doing the weird stuff. I am pretty dumb about this stuff, please anyone with patience and step by step instructions, I could use your help.
