I have been having this problem for about 3 days
Suddenly, one of my website doesn't load anymore. Some others don't either.
It says, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
I tried accessing it on another computer, it works fine. So it's just me.

I have been reading through posts, but none of them really helped
I have tried deleting history, files, and stuffs like that, but it doesn't work
One of the posts here say that the HOSTS file may have problems, or is corrupted. But where can I find this to fix?
If it's not this, what other ways can I try? Thanks!

First of what is your OS if Vista click start button type in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
If Xp open run and type in the above
If you want to replace it with a new hosts file follow the instructions in this link http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
or this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

Hope this helps !

I am having the same problem as hikaru* Posted Dec 26 2009, 01:04 AM :

except I do not get any kind of error message. This happens when I am on a website and try to click on something inside that website to get a different page. (For Example: I can go to www.amazon.com website and click on a product listing and get that products page, but if I try to click for more info on that page it just does nothing.)

I used the help from doinmeedin Posted Dec 26 2009, 04:02 AM -
I have WinXP so I opened "RUN" and typed in "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts", but I got a pop up that asked me "what program do you want to use to open this file"

So now what should I try?

Thanks for the help, doinmeedin, but I didn't have to try fixing the hosts file at all. For some reasons, my dad disconnected the Internet wire and plugged it in again; he also shut the Internet thingy down and turned it back on. I guess that sometimes, refreshing the Internet connection would be good.
