So i have my tower all built and ready to go (with a blank harddrive), now the windows 7 upgrade version as we know is less expensive than the full windows 7 version. I have an windows xp update disk being that years ago i updated from windows 2000. Now if i can rip the files for xp off a torrent then load the installation onto a disk then stick it in my un formatted pc then when prompted to enter a serial key for the xp update, then finally put in the windows 7 update and go from there, would this work? Help
