can not open rar files

first I tried winrar . would not let me open any rar file

then i tried rarextract frog

and RARZILLIA

on rar frog and rar zillia all you do is drag and drop the rar file and it opens seen it on youtube. but it will not work for me

also rar zillia comes with a pre made rar file to drop and drag. can not get that one to work neither

for some reason I can not open any rar file even with a program that opens rar files

no i do not have a virus

help is apreciated

Is the file 'locked', 'encrypted' or protected in some way? Can it be opened on another machine?
