Hello

I dunno if anyone will be about tonight, but first of all merry Xmas

I've come to my sisters for Xmas and her laptop is so slow it takes about 10 minutes to open firefox. I'm not too sure where to start, so any help you can give me would be appreciated. The second and most annoting prolem is the touch pad seems to have a mind of its own. I know this seems fairly vague but any ideas to sort this.

Thanks.

Welcome to BC,

You might want to take a look at this from jgweed.

One of the most common problems I see is 2 Anti-Virus program trying to run, usually the trial and one the owner installed.

Also spyware and malware. Read up on it and post any questions.

Wish you and yours a Safe and Happy Holiday Season
