Hey i'm having some problems trying to login to my Facebook(FB) a/c and even into my hotmail a/c. After i enter my username and password i keep getting some error message about the Certificate. "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." that was the message i got when i try to login in to FB. Also i am not able to login to windows live messenger but i am able to login into yahoo messenger.

Can someone please assist?

Thank you in advance.

If the "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." is a warning, aren't you able to by-pass or ignore it?
Which browser are you using?

Does it say what the problem with it is? If so, is it just expired, or does the name not match? Usually it lets you see what the problems is.

Sometimes it isn't even the sites certificate that has the problem, it is one for one of the ads on the site.

There is a Nov software update at WUS re certificates, you might check if that needs to be installed in your system.

I just went to Facebook, with no problem.

Do you see an error of any kind?
It might be a network related issue or that the account has become inactive.

Also try reinstalling or updating to the latest version of messenger.

this is not a network issue your system date is set to earlier date try to set the date from your
BIOS set up and u will by pass the security check, coz websites updates their certificates of security frequently
change your system date and time......

What you are suggesting is just a workaround and not a full-fledged solution.
