I have an ASUS P5N72-T M/B with award bios.

I have been having an issue where the computer won't boot, even into bios. Fans come on, power comes on with a power supply unit that has been verified as good.
I removed all the ram & it SHOULD HAVE beeped an error for no/bad ram but it doesn't get that far into bios boot. (yes, the speaker has been verified to work)
The computer is not even getting to the point it checks the ram.

Any ideas? It's either a bad MB or chip?

If the MB doesn't post at ALL, 99.9% of the time its bad. However it doesn't mean its the ONLY component bad. If it was per say a processor or a memory chip etc.. you are correct in assuming it should beep and tell you whats going on.

I am thinking bad chip or MB- I bench tested it with the same results. Its as if it isn't even trying anymore.
