Hello and welcome to BC.

If you do a search in this topic or look at a few links around the internet you will find there is a great source of information on batch files in general. I don't know a "good" programming book on batch as I learned most of it by looking over the internet and from others. This is a good site on batch files: http://www.computerhope.com/batch.htm and from there you can learn other command lines too.

Hope that helps.

With Regards,
Extremeboy
