For some reason it has been posted empty.

The original message:

I am using the FTP protocol to download/upload my website from/on to the web server. There is 200+ files (html, jpg, js, zip, gif, css...)
Since 2006 when I set the website up I was never able to upload or download the files without any problems. Not even once!

I tried a few servers, different equipment, software, a few ISPs...

I am not asking you guys what the problem is as I realise it may be anything, even the less expected reason.

My question is what do you do? What ways are you using to upload your files to the web server?

I am ending up doing it by 10-20 files chunks each time praying for not seeing the connection timeout message.

Many thanks, happy xmas.
