How do I recover files after a system restore?

Computer locked up and would not boot into windows. This resulted in me doing a system restore. I selected the option of restoring without doing a complete reformating. So now that they system is back opperational how do I recover lost programs and files..ie.. Itunes MP3 files and picture files?
