I am stuck in Avast hell. Ultimately I just want to unstill the program.

I cannot even stop it or shut it down. It was installed on my PC months ago and never have I had a problem. Today, It says I am infected w/ all sorts of issues and in order to remove them I need to buy there product. Well I try to work around and just cancel the option or program and I cannot do anything. Downloaded Revo unistaller and it won't let me run it as it just blocks all actions. so I am just frustrated. Thanks in advance.

To uninstall avast you will need the ' avast! uninstall utility ': http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-uninstall-utility.html

From what you describe, this sounds more like some type of infection. It might be better to post your problem in
' Am I Infected? What do I do? ': http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/
