Hi all,
I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone could tell me why there are so many explorers running in taskmanager.
I have 4 running.
Do I need this many? I'm thinking that I don't and need to know if I can stop the some of these processes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you differentiating between...explorer.exe and iexplore.exe?

There should be only one explorer.exe (which is Windows) and there can be any number of iexplore.exes reflected, depending on how many windows are open in IE.
