a few hours ago suddenly something downloaded on my PC (Windows XP Home), immediately I lost any connection to the internet and the admin rights for my PC, I even cannot display my hidden folders or system folders in the windows explorer or activate the task manager. :-(
(A message apears that it has been deactivated by the administrator.)

There is a link "Internet security 2010" on my desktop now and a pop up window informs me about a trojan and tries to convince me to run the "Internet security 2010", which I of course will not do.

Avast AntiVirus and Ad-Aware failed both to protect my PC or to find the intruder.

PLEASE help me, what can I do?

Thanks for any help
Adam from Düsseldorf

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. Also removed the email addy to foil spambots, as well as keep the information on the forums so that everyone learns. ~ Animal

Take a look here: Remove Internet Security 2010 (Uninstall Guide)
