Happy Holidays!

I just noticed that recently my computer has been redirected to page, whenever I spell a website wrong, and it's not your typical "buy this website" page. when hovering over the links I find that the links are directing to searchportal.information.com although this in itself is not bad, I don't know what else happened to the system so I wanted to make sure that there was nothing hidden in addition to this. I have also noticed at the same time my computer has started to take about twice as much time as it use to, to start up. I think they are both related since they appeared at the same time, but I'm not sure.

Here are my computer details:

AMD Turion 64 x2
Windows 7 64-bit

Any help would be most appreciated.
