Im having strange issues on my computer for a couple of days now, ive tryed to fix it myself but now im just pulling my hair out. Because the problems comes back everytime. It all started when i was browsing on a video stream site when suddenly popups came up about malware program, fake windows,etc. I have Northon trial installed but was already expired. I downloaded antimalware program but i couldnt install it, so i changed the name,etc (as seen in other topics) and that worked, scanned my harddrives and have found these 5 infections:

\\?\globalroot\systemroot\System32\H8SRTxsanlrnndy.dll (Trojan.FakeAlert)
C:\Users\**\AppData\Local\Temp\richtx64.exe (Rogue.Installer)
C:\Users\**\AppData\Local\Temp\Installer.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert)
C:\Users\**\AppData\Local\Temp\wscsvc32.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert)
C:\WINDOWS\System32\41.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert)

I deleted them, after restart the popups no longer came but got a 'windows defender' error that it is not working anymore, i also cant install 'AVG' before install it says i have to uninstall malware program, so i did but the message is still there even when it is deleted. Still strange things are happening like IE window jumps, in my internet history theres always (www.applicationsweb.cn, channelnetwork.cn, finditquick.com) and also getting a blue screen when i go to my configuration=>Windows Defender..
Im using Vista Basic 32bit.. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.
Thanks;

Can someone help me please, i almost reformated my computer to do a fresh install of windows but that means i have to backup my data and i kinda scared to plug in my external harddrive to avoid the virus spreading (because i use it on my other computer). I installed a other antivirus but it doesnt work, im getting a error.. If i scan with SuperAntispyware it always finds infections, this time Adware, Roque Smartprotector. After restart i scan again and its there again. Some guidance would be helpfull.
Thanks;

Hello you have a rootkit infection. Bc requires that it be removed thru our HJT forum safely..
You will need to run HJT/DDS.
Please follow this guide. go and do steps 6 thru 8 ,, Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Hijackthis. Then go here HijackThis Logs and Virus/Trojan/Spyware/Malware Removal ,click New Topic,give it a relevant Title and post that complete log.

Let me know if it went OK.

Hello,

Now that you have posted a log here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/280502/infected-with-rootkit/ you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

Please be patient. It may take several days, up to two weeks perhaps less, to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.
