G'day and thank you folks in advance for helping me. I am going to post in the hijackthis forum as I have got (and cant get rid of) a trojan horse named Vundo.

Sweet little horse but he is taking over my computer and that is just not acceptable so I have come to you hoping you can help me remove him. I'd like to send him back to his owner but being a girl I can't be that mean :-)

Wish me luck as Vundo has proven very resilient so far.

Vundo can be a real pain. One word though, the HJT area is extremely busy this time of year. You may be in for a little wait. But, it is worth it... the team is very good in cleaning computers.

Welcome aboard.

I am hoping that the team can get this sorted for me as I have tried all I feel confident to try - the last thing I need is to make it worse

In the meantime it keeps popping up 6-10 times a day with AVG's Resident Shield message. I just hope that means that although I have it, it is being contained.
