My daughter is 16 and i am losing her big time

She is hooked on tibia a role playing game, she has pulled away from all her friends and dumped her b/f and sits in that room for 18 hours to a stretch....
only time she is off it is when she sleeps
she failed 2 courses in school and now school starts again

Take the power cord from the back of the computer tower, unplug the other end from the wall and tell her she will get the computer back when she gets her stuff together in school. Just my 2 cents

 to BC! catwoman-44.
First off, its not good to use your e-mail address as your member name here because you can get unwanted spam in your inbox from spam bots who linger and pick up e-mail addresses.

Second off, do what Bear said and put your foot down and do something about it. Best bet, unhook the machine.

Good Luck,
yanowhiz

Yeah I would just unplug her computer until she gets her act together.

I'm going to have to go with the consensus here. Put the computer in the family room...allow usage only for school, and allow game playing only as a reward..

But I am kind of a hard-ass
