I get redirected when i try to open google results in firefox or IE. I'm using McAfee on XP. I took the following actions in the order that they appear.

Ran DDS first and I've the results attached.

Ran CCleaner, didn't help. ---still got redirects

Ran MBAM quick scan and got 2 infected files, had them quarantined and deleted. Problem persisted, log attached. ---still got redirects

Tried to run GMER a few times but it reboots every time. Tried running it in safe mode, got the same thing. ---still got redirects

Ran MBAM again, full scan this time, said no files were infected. ---still got redirects

Tried to run RKill, didn't work. ---still got redirects

Ran Combofix and it deleted something, have the .txt attached and also the quarantined files .txt ---redirects seem to have STOPPED

After I ran Combofix, I tried GMER again, but once again it rebooted my system and that was all. I don't have redirects right now, but somehow I don't think the problem's gone. Please HELP!

Thanks a million.

Guys, I'm not bumping, only things got a lot worse and now I got fake virus alarms about hala.a and win32.agent kinda stuff. It messes up w McAfee: it basically disabled it completely. I tried ru nning a few checks and scans in safe mode w malwarebytes, security 360 and gmer, ran cclean again but the monster's still lurking somewhere deep inside.PLEASE HELP

I do not accept personal donations for assistance provided. I would ask that you instead consider donating the greatest gift - Organ Donation. Your organs are of no use to you when your gone. You will save a life that would otherwise be lost!
