I have had some hijacker problems. I think I have fixed them with hijackthis but I think I still need to fix some settings. I can search the wb without being redirected now, but I can't open certain pages. Like the windows update page. I can get in but it won't connect. Same with my banks web site I can get in but as soon as I click on online banking it gives me a "page cannot be displayed" I think its a security setting problem??? PLease help

It sounds like you may have disabled Active X which is required for Windows Update and some bank websites.

See if the boxes for Active X are unchecked in IE.
