As I am writing this post, twitter is still hacked. www.Twitter.com is down.

Possible safety precautions :
- If you use same password as on Twitter for other accounts like email, change them quickly.
- Update the password for email address you used on Twitter to a much stronger one and do not use any dictionary words.

Update:
Twitter.com is working again :thumbsup:
Twitter has dismissed it as unplanned downtime. Saying that Twitter's DNS records were compromised.
