Hey tech community! Jimmy Ray here saying hi for the first time. I'm a computer support technician on the Central Coast of California. I live and die by the root kit busting software known as ComboFix. I actually rename it cause I had an .exe blocker running diversion on me, so I named it 'JohnHenry' as sort of a throw to the terminator-turned savior of the human race from the Terminator TV and movie series. Today, I see 'JohnHenry' folders on several computers I service, and it cracks me up every time! I would love to retain ComboFix's original name... but if I were a 'process of malice' I would put ComboFix and all variations of that name at the top of my executable block list!

To all who fight the good for humanity in the war against the machines, I salute you! We are the New Age medicine men, the micro-mechanics of our time! We work, in secret, we exist in shadows... and you literally have to have seen EVERY episode of Star Trek: TNG before your application will even be looked at! You guys, us guys, we guys rock!! We all do this cause we love it, and especially cause we're good at it! Oh yeah... $$$ too!

Happy holidays everyone!

Unil next time... I'm Jimmy Ray!
