I have recently started experiencing a very slow performance on network services on my computer. Other computers on the same network are doing fine.

My system is a Toshiba M200 Tablet with WinXP tablet edition. 512 Mb RAM.

When browsing webpages this is most evident. I open a page and sometimes it just stops after loading parts of the page. Opening a fair and square webpage can take up to a minute. I have looked at the code of the webpages and it just seems like the page stops transfering at some point.

Have run HJT and hope someone can have a look at it to determine if there are some obvious errors on my system:

Hello ragnvald and welcome tothe BC HijackThis forum. There are no indications of infections or malware at this time. The log is clean.

I would suggest posting a question in the Windows Xp forum and see what they have to say.

Solved this problem just two hours ago. Seems like the Cisco VPN-client wasn't too good on my system. Removed it. Also ran WinsockXPFix.exe. Had to reboot a couple of times before the computer performed 100%. But now everything seems to be alright.

So - do not trust the Cisco VPN client. It might not do your system good.

Thankyou for your answer anyway. It makes it even easier to isolate the problem.

Hi ragnvald. Glad to hear that things are back to normal. I've heard of others having problems with that VPN client so you are not alone.

Now that your issues have been resolved I will close this topic. If you have any new issues in the future then please start a new topic.

Keep on computing!

OT
