I posted earlier but I really didn't understand how to post a topic. (sorry sorry) I understand if I have to go to the back of the line.....
I have been reading all I can on your site about fighting these bugs and when the next class opens up I am interested in joining the freshman class.

I have attached what I hope are the necessary files. Thanks in advance for any help with this rootkit virus.

Hi, please close my two posts for help.

I could not wait for help so I made a backup of my data and tried to fix it myself. I finally decided it was time to upgrade from Xp to win 7 64 bit anyway. I figure I will reformat the drive and add the new operating system.

Thoughts on this site:

I really appreciate the help for all us newbies! For free!

Suggestions:

While I love that you help people for free I wish you would give each poster a "ticket" stating their place in line. I was frustrated when I saw other posts being answered first, even though they occurred after mine. (I realize that is how the system works, and free! but it is frustrating to watch.)

That way I could see if my number was coming up and not feel helpless and motivated to self correct my machine. (Who has time to wait three days, without knowing if you will ever get an answer?)

Thanks again for the great service! (I wanted to join your school but there were no openings and no timeframe given.)

Thanks for the heads up. Sorry for the delay to reply. We actually do our best to take logs in the order posted. There are unique exceptions to that rule though. Some helpers possess unique expertise with specific infections and seek those out. Other helpers are involved in development and testing and this also leads to logs being taken out of order.

Hope you understand.

Since this topic appears to be resolved, I will now close it.
If you need this topic re-opened please send me a PM.

Everyone else, please start a new topic.

Kind regards,
~ t
