I'm not really computer savvy so I don't know why I mess with it. Anyways, this began when I decided to back up my files for fear I'd lose everything. I did a 'shadow cover/back up' option that windows gave me. But I did it on the F drive and now I have 1% room left on it. So I deleted the copies (at least I was pretty sure) that were in the F drive. Not only do I still have 1% room on the F drive, but now my audio is gone.

-There is no speaker icon on the bottom right hand corner.
-When I go to device manager, conexant high def audio is there, with no yellow exclamation point.
-When I click on conexant high def audio, the box says 'No drivers are installed with this device'

Did I somehow delete my audio when I deleted the copied files? And how do I get my audio back??
Please help.

What is the make and model number of your computer?
What version of Windows are you using?

Uhh I believe it's an HP Pavilion dv2000 and I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium. Like I said I'm not computer savvy.
To change my initial story, deleting the copied files had nothing to do with it, my space is now fine. I forgot that I ran a critical update and it was after that update that my audio was gone.
