updated: the file atapi.sys seems to be part of the problem. When I moved it to the desktop it regenerated itself. Will attempt some self surgery....

Hi, I have that annoying virus that redirects Google searches and opens another tab or window.

I have scanned with Avira, malwarebytes, clam and microsoft security essentials to no avail.

I would appreciate any help I can get to fix this....

I have attached the dds scans and rootrepeal files.

thanks in advance!
