I am new to posting. I hope that I am doing it correctly.

I live in Melbourne Australia. I started using computers at Uni in 1977 when I learnt Fortran. In those days our Maths teachers said not to bother learning Basic as it will only be of use to Art students!!!

I started using PC's regularly in 1988 when I joined the Australian Public Service (I got smart and left 7 years later and began to work in the real world.

I look forward to being involved in this community.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer! I, too, am new to the community, but already I know that it's a really great forum with many knowledgeable users. I'm sure you'll fit right in here. Let me know if you need help with anything, good luck.
