ok so heres the problem when i start my computer up my monitor is blank. its all connected even the light is flashing blue which means its receiving signal. however when it gets to the log in screen voila there is picture on the monitor. This applies to whenever the computer goes to sleep or is in standby mode as well. there will be no picture unless i restart my computer and the whole process again. what is the problem? is it a hardware problem?

I recently installed ram but it worked fine could that be the cause?

My computer is a 32 bit win XP media center with 3.5gb of ram

Corrupt video driver, perhaps?
Have you tried to reinstall it?
