Well, that's an old topic that I wish to update. I keep getting some small issues with vdrcodec.dll which is apparently related to Pinnacle Systems. Anyway I found here (Mcafee site advisor gives the green light) to download it in a zipped form, but how do I install it to repair the issue of the apparently broken vdrcodec.dll? That is to say, how does one install a .dll file?

Well, I guess the title of my topic may be confusing. All I want to know is how to install a dll file. Any ideas?

After doing a search for "how to install a .dll file":

There were more sites offering similar info.

Thanks a lot for the information. At the moment I am about to complete some project with Pinnacle so I will try to install the codec as soon as I finish because I wouldn't like to risk loosing it at this point. When I do I will come back with the results.
