Hi all. I'm new here so I'm not sure if I'm even in the correct section. For a few weeks now, I've had issues with the task bar not letting me go between different screens, my mouse moving on it's own, and a "disk read error" showing up only when I try to restart. If I turn it off and leave it off for 20 secs or so, it boots but it hangs and takes nearly 20 minutes to completely boot up to the desktop. I ran super anti spyware and got nothing. I also ran Trend Micro House Call a few times last week and got adware detected for cmdow.exe but was under the impression this is a false positive. Today I got troj_generic.dit PL5DBD 1. I can't find any info on this and have no clue what to do now. I don't know if I should allow it's removal or not.

I'm running Windows XP but can't start it in safe mode at all. No idea why that's happening. I've never seen that before.

 :flowers:
