I've been trying to solve this issue for the past month. Had a lot of help with Elise from this site to make sure it wasn't a virus or malware.

She now told me to post this thread here.

I am not able to get Windows Updates, either manually from the website or from Windows Updater. They download, but then they all fail when trying to install. Looking at the logs, the error that is happening looks like 0x80070005.

We tried a few suggestions to troubleshoot the error, but had no luck.

Please help!
