When I do a goole search and click on the result, it takes me to some other website i.e. either to some other search engines or some product endorsement sites. If I hit the back button and click on the result --- repeating this for 10 times takes me to the desired search result. I also sometimes get warning messages from McAfee site advisor about suspicious link. I had McAfee running on my computer when I got this and also did complete scan with malwarebytes but in vain.
I am still having the same problem and could not find how to solve the issue.

I laptop is running windows vista home premium service pack 2.

Details about my browser:
1) Mozilla Firefox - version 3.5.5
2) IE - version - 8.0.6001.18865

Looking for some help ... thanks
