I like the URL: bleeping computer is certainly the correct name for the computer which I've been working on for three days with singular lack of success.

As for some bio, I bought my first PC (a TRS-80) in 1978, wrote a computer column in a newspaper for 20 years, use both a Macintosh G5 running Leopard and a PC (about six feet away) which I built myself using a garden variety Asus board and an Intel dual core.

Have plugged away at solving computer problems for the past 15 years, but only found bleepingcomputers.com today when I when I was absolutely unable to resolve the current issue.

Boy, do I have my fingers crossed...
