My old Dimension 2400 network card is intergrated in my board. I have no connection and I think that part is broken. I am on the net with my laptop so the broadband is workin.

Can I fix the 2400 by adding an ethernet card in the PCI slot? Or is there a fix for what I have now?

I think you should try to reinstall the drivers from the device manager....or maybe update the driver from the dell website. If none work then yes you can install a pci card, and I think they only run like 10 bucks.....GL
