whenever i try to burn an image using windows xp, it doesn't let me. Whenever it prompts me to pick the drive im gonna be using to burn the cd nothing pops out(I'm not given any options). I'm thinking it has something to do with the drivers but i'm not sure. Is there anyway you can check if IT IS the drivers(it's missing, corrupted etc..)?

Try using any other Burning Apps and see if the problem persists.

I would rather advice you to deactivate the IMAPI [image mastering AP,it is the DEFAULT Windows XP utility to burn CDs]so that there is no conflict between the Burning Apps and WinXp default burner
For Deactivating the disk burning service from Windows ,

1.Click Start/Run .
2.Type in msconfig
3.Within Services tab unselect the service 'IMAPI-CD-Burn-COM-Service'

Now try to burn image using any Burning Apps.
