I have a Dell workstation 490, 3.2gig, 160gig disk and 4Gig of memory. It came loaded with XP pro and I have updated to all MS updates. I have had it for about a week and periodically when I want to copy something, the right mouse click freezes everything except the mouse cursor. Scanned with Avast and Trojan Remover. The CPU usage is less than 5% total and minimal memory usage (PF Usage @ ~575). The only way to clear it is to bring up the task manager. The task manager shows the process as “not responding”, but easily kills the process. It doesn't do it all the time and it is not repeatable. If I clear the problem and bring up the files screen every thing goes normally. Additionally it does not necessarily do it in the same folder. Has anyone run across this problem?
