Accessing Internet Explorer after install Malwarebytes

Hello everyone,

I am not that tech savy and would appreciate any help that can be given.......I installed malwarebytes and Kaspersky anti-virus 2010 to remove malware and viruses that I had picked up. The removal was successful, however I now can not connect to the internet via Internet Explorer....Please Help!

Does it just not connect or do you get errors?

It just does not connect, and my laptop indicates that I have a strong signal (are there any settings that need to be attended to). Hope you can help

Have you tried resetting all of the settings in IE back to defaults?

Not quite sure how to do that, but would be willing to try. I went into IE Tools/Settings and could not figure out how to connect. If you could assist me with a default reset of IE that would be appreciated.....Thanks
