Hi,

Helping out a friend who cant open attactments via IE8 only but can open them in firefox without issues.

This issue is happening on two seperate computers.

System one running vista 32bit OS & System two running Xp pro 32 OS

Each time they click the attachment they get a meesage in the dialog box saying view.atdmt.com.

Which its happenig for all types of files PDF, DOC etc.

Ran malwarebytes,ad aware, SAS and spybot and found no trace of anything.

Cant seem to find what the issue is.

Cheers,

Try reading through some of the sites: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cli...;oq=&aqi=g1

I can't find a definite answer, but according to the first result, you may be able to edit the registry to solve the issue, but I would be very hesitant and BACKUP your registry before attempting to follow his instructions.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply should we move this post to the securtiy section of the forum.

Strange that both computers have the same issue and how this hads come about on two seperate systems.

Would perfer not to touch the registry and fix this up some other way

Cheers,

Hi,

Would you like us to start a new post or wait to this is moved.

Funny that this only happens in IE8 and not Firefox.

Cheers,

It seemed to only affect IE from what I read around on google. But you can start another thread if you wish, but I already PM'ed a mod to try and get this moved. Be sure to provide a link back to this topic if you decide to start a new one.
