Wife picked up a sticky Trojan on her laptop and I've been doing everything I can think of to get rid of it. It started by hijacking all of her broswers, Chrome, Firefox and IE. Redirecting her to various sites. It started out as Antivirus System Pro crap, but I think I managed to stop most of that, but I don't think I got it all or it let in the Vundo one or something. Not sure.

Avast wouldn't pick it up, Then we bought Web Root Spysweeper and are having trouble even installing it (though I think that might be a different issue all together). We then disabled Avast and installed AVG and AVG found a couple Vundo.IY infections, but it found them in AVG.exe files. When we tried to put webroot on, Avast would find infections in the Webroot software files that managed to actually get installed (never a full install process). So I have reached the point of asking for help before I mess something up. Though I am sure some of my steps might not have helped.

Thanks for your help all the same. Much Appreciated.
