I read and downloaded a software that was recommended that i just love. I orginally saw the posting here but can not find it anymore. It was just 3 months ago. It was a free software that would run in the background and anytime i emailed or uploaded a pic, it would automatically reduce the size so i can email it. Does anyone know which software this is?

I don't know of anything that does that, but its most likely irfanview. I haven't used it, so I can't be sure of it.

you can resize in Paint you dont have to have Expensive program or you can use Gimp2

Yeah, GIMP would be a better option as opposed to MS Paint, where loss in quality is inevitable.

snagit or quick screenshot maker can do that.
