Hello all! This is the newbie again. This time my problem deals with the System Restore function for Windows XP Home. No matter what date is picked, or who/what created the restore date, the msg comes back saying in words to the effect "Unable to perform System Restore. Please choose another date."

This all started when I was using a Roxio burn program and a popup window would not clear no matter what. Repeated attempts at clicking the usual keys (Ctrl, Alt, Del) resulted in a compele system freeze.

After powering down and rebooting, I discovered problems with my e-mail program (OE) and System Restore.

I believe I have found a solution to the OE problem, but I am assuming the System Restore issue deals with the Registry. I know absolutely nothing about the Registry, so I will not touch that area myself.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you............williebuilt
