Hi Guys,

I want to buy a new PC for my dad. His usage for pc would be purely for work. He would use charting tools and see stock market charts and run business apps. He may not need a super fast pc but still a reasonably fast one as it has to last for the next couple of years.

Regarding OS i would install Windows 7 (64 bit) as its fast so thats a boost.

Would be glad if you could answer some of my queries -

1. CPU - Core i7 is still expensive. Should I go for Core 2 Duo or Quad core or what. (No AMD please)

2. RAM- Considering Win 7 64-bit, is 4 GB RAM okay.

3. Monitor - I thought if i give him two lcd monitors it will be easy for him to see more content. Should I go for widescreen one or normal 19" monitor. Or should I buy 1 big monitor.

4. GPU - No gaming will take place but to ensure graphics is fine can anyone suggest me cheap Nvidia graphics card with 2 DVI outputs. (eg. geforce 9500 GT or something). Just need a cheap GPU for decent win7 graphics or 2 monitor output perhaps. ??

I will be glad if anyone can answer my queries.

Thank you,
