I clicked "New Topic" to post a question along with a screen shot, and didn't see how to insert it. In my User CP, it says I have 50% of my attachment space left. How am I missing it?

Moved to more appropriate forum. ~ OB

You are likely posting in a forum that does not allow attachments.

Please read this topic: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/14738/inserting-an-image-within-a-post/ for how to put an image into a post here at BC.

Sorry about posting in the wrong section.

I know we can link to pictures from hosts, but there used to be a paper clip icon in the wysiwyg editor that opened "Manage Attachments" so we could upload a capture directly to our space here at BC.

But now, when I click New Topic or Reply, that is not there any more. Like I said in my first post, I went to my User CP and it showed I had 4 current images uploaded and a message stating, "You have used 281.72k of 512k" and "You have 4 attachments (55% used)"

Are you saying that BC no longer has that feature? The editor has a drop down that says "Insert Special Item" but That doesn't seem to be it. Or am I missing something?

My apologies if I am being a doofus. :flowers:

Only certain subforums permit the attachment of files, like the HijackThis forum for example.

Oh. Thanks, Andrew. I didn't remember it being that way. I'll use a host from now on.
