I am new totally new member of this forum, so please bear with me if I commit any faux pas. My computer seems to be over-run with what I call malware-hope that is the correct identification.

After noticing the activity last evening, I began an internet search this morning for directions on how to resolve/remove the infestations. Unfortunately, each procedure launched appears to either 1) do nothing, 2) remove some of the files, but allow them to return on the next boot-up, or 3) just create more problems. For example, I have run the Malware Bytes scan, Spybot S&D scan, and rkill. Malware found 2 infections, which I removed. Spybot S&D found several, which I removed. However, each time that I use the Firefox browser I see the "transferring data" message on the task bar again. (As and FYI, I also disabled IE 7 this morning)

Any assistance that anyone can offer me will be greatly appreciated, and please remember, I do not speak computer-eze. Talk to me like you talk to your grandfather because I am one!

Listed below are just some of the files that I can see in the lower left corner of the task bar as I move from one site to another, e.g., when I click on my Yahoo Mail icon, these are some of the files list as "transferring data from": (there are perhaps 20-30 other files that I have been unable to read because of the speed with which the transfer is made)

Finally, I did run a HijackThis report in the event that is of interest to you. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you might offer.
