There is a message flashing in the center of my Gateway FPD1530 monitor "processing auto configuration". It's been flashing 5 days now. I've rebooted, unplugged, played with OSD buttons, removed/replace video card, consulted manual (no info there), asked for help at Gateway- the automated response was that they could not find the serial number I provided, and tried to google a solution. The only answers I found online were to replace the monitor. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, especially if it's a quick, easy fix : )

I'd just accept it as a warning that the monitor is fading.

Auto configuration is something that should be done quickly/easily.

When it doesn't happen that way, it's similar to any other situation where malperformance occurs.
