Windows 7 hangs up

My computer hangs up after entering desktop but doesn't hang when in safe mode... ive tried scanning for virus, etc... ive tried tweaking msconfig but still hangs up.. :huh: thanks!

Make sure all your drivers are updated.

You can find what is casing the problem by typing eventvwr in the start search box. Look at the error messages.

Definitely, eventviewer can give a clear idea about the actual problem.....try this out. Observe the error messages and then try to find out the solution.
