Hey all.

Its been about three days now and i can't seem to get my IE8 to open up and my Windows Live Messenger to sign in. I have not installed any new programs recently but just that I switched on the PC one of the days, and this happens. On a side note, i did get a warning from Avira Antivirus that there's a detection for Delphi type of virus (never heard of that, actually) but that was removed by Avira.

So now, I've done a through check according to the tutorials here. Used Malwarebytes in safe mode and it cleared out 9 problems, mostly worm. Avira did not detect anything. Still the problem persists, and i can't open IE 8 - there's no indication of it opening up after double clicking the logo and Windows Live Messenger icons just shows it as signing in and after few minutes, it just stops. I can't remember the last time this happened. There's no error sign anywhere on IE 8 or Windows Live Messenger.

Also that seemed to have effected my IDManager - it hangs whenever i click something to download, and there's so sign of downloading, it just shows getting the server connected and it stops. Please let me know how do i solve this - and i cant find any info elsewhere on this on this site, or other, therefore i requested this help.

I'm using:

- XP SP3
- Avira Antivirus
- Spy bot
- 1 Gb Ram on Pentium 4.
